Stabile coffee cup
Stabile was created as a part of exchange studies in Italy. The goal of this ceramic design course was to make ceramic tableware that could be made in industrial manufacture. Final designs were produced in a local manufacture place out of our own hands made molds. My personal challenge was to find a stable coffee cup that doesn’t look like industrial design. Tree fulcrum in organic form keeps cup stable even in rough platforms. Actual four piece mold allowed quite a free form to final design. Pieces were produced by Isia and manufactured by Fozz ceramics at Italy, Faenza.
