Forbidden Fruit is a digital art series that playfully explores queerness, online dating, sexuality, and self-expression through fruit and emoji symbolism. Blending familiar icons like the peach and eggplant with Pride and Trans flags, the series reflects on digital desire, dating culture, and the tension between visibility and subtle intimacy, where expressions of identity move between online and offline spaces, sometimes celebrated, sometimes concealed, depending on the stage of democracy.
